Regional changes through the developer console do not work.

This used to work until the previous patch, but now it always connects to the nearest server no matter which region I switch to in the developer console.
I'm assuming it's a bug, but is it an intended spec change?

100% working as intended. there is no valid reason as to why you should be queuing for servers outside of your region anyway.
