also thought Its price could be 3200 . I feel like 6400 would be too much money lost. The price is too low IMO, nothing to lose.
That’s even more reason for the item to be cheap, so your teammates can buy it too if that situation comes up and they can actually fight back against the enemy.Imagine late game, where everyone has a spirit resist builds, and Yamato switches from spirit to gun![]()
The problem is that you'd lose a lot of souls when selling the items. Still, remember that this item is single-use and anyone can buy it. I think that if you made a perfect build, you just wouldn't buy it .Could understand a 75 or 60% refund, full refund is too much however and only sounds fun in theory.
Actually, I think that if you're putting a lot of pressure on the enemy with your build, they’ll be the ones who want to change their build first. I believe it would come down to who applies more pressure in the match from the start.I like the idea, single use makes it more balanced but the biggest issue I see with the item is that the first one to use it always loses it.
If you play spirit and the enemy builds spirit resist and you switch to gun after that, then they get advantage by being able to switch to gun resist after that.
You could say in that situation the enemy gets less value out of the item since they sell less than you which is remaking the entire build
"The counter to the item is the item and its how you fight back against the item" is not a great balance philosophyThat’s even more reason for the item to be cheap, so your teammates can buy it too if that situation comes up and they can actually fight back against the enemy.
I honestly have no idea how this item would work in Deadlock. I think Fred might be somewhat right, but who knows."The counter to the item is the item and its how you fight back against the item" is not a great balance philosophy
i feel fred is also right in that the first person to change their build kinda just loses it, and this eventually also turns into a situation like overwatch where everyone is just constantly counter swapping to counter swap someone's counter swap and it becomes less of a competitive video game and more of a competitive swap item game
