I usually play on 150–200 ms ping, and currently the experience feels noticeably worse than it did previously.
Would be great if the team could take another look at high-ping responsiveness.
- Movement/Input Feel: Movement feels less smooth and almost like there is input latency. Character responsiveness is inconsistent on higher ping.
- Deny/Confirm Timing: Ping compensation doesn’t seem to handle soul deny mechanics very well, the enemies can often deny almost as easily as you can confirm, which makes the interaction feel bad.
- Melee/Parry Timing: The melee system feels inconsistent on higher ping. Some abilities (e.g., Viscous Punch) are effectively unparryable because the timing windows are so tight.
- Voice Chat UI: When playing on higher ping, it’s sometimes impossible to see who is speaking on mic, the UI just doesn't pick it up, I'm not too sure whats up with that as it used to work before.
- Shop/UI Responsiveness: The UI feels slightly delayed e.g, when buying items in the shop there’s a noticeable split-second delay before the purchase registers.
Would be great if the team could take another look at high-ping responsiveness.
