When I started playing this game as my first moba and first key board and mouse game, so I struggled a lot. Due to this I received a very low rank. Now I am stuck in the low low ranks when I am playing at a level above these ranks level but due to my rank I play with players that constantly feed, it feels impossible to rank up. I win 4-6 matches in a row to only go up 1 rank the lose 2 the derank twice. Could it be possible to reset my rank ? I don't want to make a second account as that requires money and is a hassle.

I pretty much get what the author is saying. I play anywhere from Low Oracle to High Ascendant ranks (Phantom V account), and honestly, it’s wild how many solid players you find at the lower ranks - and, on the flip side, how many not-so-great (skill-wise) players you run into at the higher ones. Sometimes you can’t help but wonder, “How the heck did they even climb this high?” The game definitely needs a rank recalibration, because right now ranks really don’t reflect players’ actual skill levels at all.
No wonder so many players complain about playing with or against smurfs - even when that’s not actually the case. It’s just that ranks don’t really show the true skill level of the lobby.
