Random kicks ending up in a matchmaking ban

Queued up a game after single normal match with no issues. Ended up being Graves, but after a couple of minutes got randomly kicked (around 8:16) into lobby after a brief black loading screen. Rejoined through esc menu, only to get kicked(10:03) again after a while. Ended up reseting steam after a third kick,(11:40) and relaunching the game. Tried to rejoin through the black screen prompt, but it too failed i guess and ended up rejoining through the esc menu in lobby(came back at 17:50). After that no issues. We won the game, but after that i got a 24h ban (which length i admit comes from previous leaves) and low priority queue for 1 win. MatchID 66613923

I'm 4 in the hole for low priority matchmaking at this point, and oh boy does it suck. I don't even know what the issue actually is, it's just that my game completely crashes, and even if I come back to he game, it counts as a quit, meaning I get another 24 hour ban.

Hi, it looks like you experienced a similar issue to what a friend and I are facing at the moment. I created a thread earlier in the night, and will link it down below. Very much the same idea, though. Game became unstable shortly into a match, I was disconnected, Deadlock wouldn't even connect to Steam, had to restart everything, and finally was able to launch Deadlock again where I was met with the "Reconnect or Abandon" option. Reconnected, kept playing. Same crash issue happened to my friend, who was playing Drifter. Game ends and I decide to play one more. Only, when I finished that next match, I was greeted with a weird warning saying I was banned, and needed to go through a Low Priority matchmaking queue in order to play the normal game again. Friend ended up experiencing the same thing after reaching out to him to check. Problem is, it won't even let us queue? We cant join ANY game mode whatsoever.

Is there some kind of time-based ban, like you mentioned? I kinda figure that we are just missing something simple and obvious like that, but the game doesn't actually say *when* the ban will be over? Only that we need to complete the Low Priority queue.

Could you please explain what it was you did (and that we are obviously not understanding) that fixed the issue for you? Was it just a matter of waiting 24 hours, like you said, and then you were able to join the punishment queue?

Hello, I just experienced a strange issue while trying to queue for a match. I had just won a game, hit play again and hit play, then got a message saying "ERROR: You have been temporarily banned from playing in this mode until (date and time)". In the Select Play Mode screen, there is a large red text block over the Deadlock option stating:

"A member of my party (I'm not in a party) is in the 'Low Matchmaking Queue' as a result of abandoning matches. You must win 1 game in the Low Priority queue or remove the penalized member to return to normal matchmaking."
