Random crashing on AMD card (started when additional video settings added)

Crashing started around 4th week August iirc.

AMD 7735HS
AMD Radeon 680M

played around 6 games today without any crashes. not sure if there were any changes. fingers crossed that crashes are figured out

if you open the directory of the game and go under Deadlock/game/bin/win64 and search "mdmp" what are the filenames that come up?

file modified dates doesn't align with crash dates though

if you know your way around Event Viewer, can you find anything maybe related to the crashes?

Had the same problem on a laptop with AMD iGPU + a dedicated GPU (also had the access violations). Windows had updated the AMD software to an unsupported version. You might find it useful to uninstall the AMD radeon software and replace it with a fresh install as outlined here https://forums.playdeadlock.com/threads/crashing-on-launch-amd-nvidia-laptop-fix-found.27486/ . Although if your game is working now, maybe just leave it.

Just posting to mention that I haven't had any crashes for the past few days. Whatever was causing the crashes is probably fixed (fingers crossed)
