ram speed change makes game unplayable

after fixing my underclocked ram to the correct clock speed my display on main menu and in game skips frames forward and backwards constantly and has not shown signs of improvement. running other games such as stalker 2 and marvel rivals is working more consistently and my computers ram usage has been fixed.
i can boot the game and interact with all menus and control my player but without clear visuals or continuous frames being displayed (skipping back and forth) all sounds play normally.

4070 ti super
corsair vengence rgb ddr5 ram 16gb x 2 5600hz
rog strix b650e-f gaming wifi
samsung evo ssd
aoc agon pro monitor
 
Modern day rams have automatic overclock profiles built into them, have you tried resetting the ram profiles in BIOS after changing them ? You can also disable OC profiles for RAM, in any case, worth to check what is going on with RAM in BIOS, if you haven't yet.
 
Odd, as a last resort have you tried reinstalling the game ? I know this is a "have you tried turning it off/on sir" kind of suggestion, but its possible that some game configs are created during installation that take hardware into account, who knows, would be weird in any case.

yah ive reinstalled a couple of times and i verified the game files through steam i really dont know what to do other than underclock my ram again and see if that works. i really wouldnt be happy if thats the only solution though

ive reinstalled the game with my ram back to its original speed when it was working and im still getting the same experience i love this game but i literally cant play it anymore sadge
