RADFORD - HUNTER / AMBUSH / ONE-ON-ONE​


A fate's tale...

Connell Radford's thrill-seeking escapades in the outer planes gained him a reputation for taking down eldritch beasts that rivals even the Baxter Society's best hunters. His pursuits, however, are motivated less by an interest in serving the public and more by a self-absorbed sense of achievement and a love of Ixian megafauna hide rugs.

While he has been known to hire out his skills for adequate bounties, the only payment he really needs is a worthy target.

HERO SUMMARY​

Radford pursues his targets from a distance before hunting them down to finish them off. His abilities allow him to single out and shut down any hero that starts giving his team trouble.

ABILITIES​

SKINNING KNIFE​

Close range damage ability that can be used to initiate an ambush, weakening enemies and crippling their ability to escape. Damage scales with melee.

WARP SHOT​

Movement ability that can be used to efficiently travel around the map for positioning, searching for enemies, or closing the gap on a target. Or use it to telefrag somebody. Can't be used reliably as an escape, because Radford isn't a coward.

DANGEROUS GAME​

The tougher the target, the more rewarding the hunt. Radford's passive allows him to deal more damage against enemy heroes who have a high net worth. The more souls an enemy has, the higher the cap on the damage amp that can be applied to them. Killing a marked target also rewards a soul bounty.

MANHUNT​

Force a single enemy hero into a 1v1 battle, giving you the advantage. All other heroes, troopers, and the like temporarily disappear to the both of you. If you're familiar with Mordekaiser's ult from League, it's something like that. Their team can't help them, though yours also can't help you.
 
Manhunt gives crazy damage amp the later in the game you go. Instantly steal 675 hp from someone, get 81% damage amp, and 675 souls on kill from someone with 40k souls. This would be INSANE value to draw out games.

Yeah that's a good point, the scaling is definitely something to watch out for late game. The think the way Dangerous Game scales needs more work. The intention is for him to have a counter / comeback mechanic against big team carries, not just passively increase his power against the entire enemy team over time. What do you think of these changes?
