Quick and dirty movement guide

Thought I might as well share it here, but I made a movement guide where I try to explain things quick and dirty. I made sure to make the video look filthy to follow that theme.

Heavy Melee Cancel. Some abilities and active items will cancel heavy melee, which lets you build a lot of speed. It's in the video.

This was extremely informative and a wonderful video. I'm unfamiliar with the physics of these games as it's been upwards of a decade since playing my last Valve shooter, and this was tremendously helpful in understanding it better. Admittedly, I am dumb as fuck and it's late as I'm writing this so the video was way too fast for me to absorb a lot of information, but it'll certainly be bookmarked and rewatched.

PS the Viscous outplays at 12 min were legit inspiring to watch lol

The advantages of video guides are that they can be paused, replayed, and slowed down, so I tried to make it as dense as possible. That way, quick learners don't feel like they're trapped at the DMV, and repetition helps the rest.

If you're talking about the one where I parried the Yamato, a few seconds before that happened, I absolutely fumbled the control of my ball, and I noticed that she immediately climbed on a sign to avoid me. So, my flowchart was basically facetank her rush and bet on her trying to punch me out of cube, while also stalling for my next wave of creeps in case I need to back up.
