Question about temporary ban timer

Does the temporary ban timer reset after some days or is it permanent and keeps adding up? I had a storm occurring in my area and it killed my power while playing but I joined back and finished the game to the end. I got a penalty 2 times and decided not to chance it a 3rd time before I get permanently banned for disconnecting if it's the case.

Well I'm getting 2hours timeout due crash of bugs and it's quite disappointing, i've been playing for a month and only left once due RL stuff
it should have some mechanism in the code that if it's a code crash it shouldn't be banned
