This happened to me in game ID 28625165. The game eventually crashed. When watching the replay, it properly closes spectator mode if you watch to the patron being defeated, but crashes if you try to skip to certain parts (skipping to 24 minutes does it for me, out of a 26:30 game).
The game ended normally (post-game scoreboard), but the main menu had the "Rejoin or Abandon Game" options instead of the "Play" button. On clicking Rejoin it put me into the already-ended game.
