pov bug

If you're experiencing a bug that causes your point of view (POV) to zoom unexpectedly in a game or application, here are some potential fixes based on common causes:

1.

  • Mouse Scroll: Ensure that your mouse scroll wheel isn’t malfunctioning or being inadvertently triggered, as this can cause the POV to zoom in or out.
  • Controller Issues: If you're using a controller, check if the right analog stick (for camera control) or a button assigned to zoom is malfunctioning or being pressed unintentionally.

2.

  • FOV Setting: In many games, the camera zoom is controlled by the Field of View (FOV) setting. Check if the FOV is set to an unusual value in the settings and try adjusting it to a more appropriate range.
  • Reset Camera Settings: If there’s an option to reset the camera or POV settings in the game’s settings, try doing that to resolve the zooming issue.

3.

  • In some games, the zoom function might be tied to a specific key or hotkey. Check your keybinding settings to see if any accidental keypresses could be triggering the zoom.
  • If the zoom is unintended, you might have accidentally remapped keys or set a conflicting hotkey. Resetting the keybindings to default may help fix this.

4.

  • Mouse Sensitivity: If you're using a mouse, check the sensitivity settings. High sensitivity can sometimes result in accidental zooming.
  • Camera Smoothness: Some games allow you to adjust the smoothness of camera movement or zoom. Reducing the sensitivity or changing how quickly the camera reacts might solve the issue.

5.

  • Graphics Glitches: Sometimes, graphics settings or bugs can cause odd zooming effects. Try lowering or adjusting your graphics settings (e.g., turning off motion blur, adjusting render distance, etc.) to see if the bug persists.
  • Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure that your graphics drivers are up-to-date, as outdated drivers can sometimes cause unexpected visual glitches like POV zooming.

6.

  • Mods or Plugins: If you’re using mods or custom plugins, they may alter camera settings. Disable them and see if the bug disappears.
  • Third-Party Software: If you have any software running in the background that affects your camera or mouse (like macro programs, camera-enhancing apps, etc.), try disabling them.

7.

  • If none of the above fixes work, try resetting the game or application settings to their default values. This can clear out any unintended changes to the controls or camera settings that may be causing the zooming issue.

8.

  • If the zoom bug seems to be a specific issue with the game itself, check online forums or community support pages for known bugs. Developers may have patched the issue, or there may be a specific workaround for that game.

If you can provide more details about the specific game or application you're experiencing this issue with, I can give more tailored advice.

ye lol i didn't even go through it, stopped after a few lines.

but on the same note ye that bug can happen with multiple instances, like paradox' ult, i believe the fast fix was always to just try to get on zipline and it should reset your camera zoom/pov angles. but it's more problematic than that since it usually happens during fights and you are done for the moment you are bugged.
