one thing I've noticed about this game is that when your internet does not work, it leads to you being banned for a bit. The game doesn't give you a warning or kick you off when your game is lagging too much, so you go into the game hoping it works. I've checked my other apps while getting the game running and the internet for those are operating like they should be. I cannot find a solution for this issue as I've been banned for a week, only to find myself lagging again when I hopped on after the fact.
I really like this game but the banning system really sucks. There are already solutions towards disconnecting and abandoning issues, like when people leave the game it becomes "safe" to leave. Or when you leave a game, your set in low priority queue. Even League of Legends puts you in a longer queue time when you leave matches but never a ban. It's really frustrating when the game punishes you via not playing the game when the issue really isn't something in your control.
I don't care about solutions like PC specs or checking my internet provider because that isn't the game being addressed, its just the person now having to pay more money to play a game that's free. It becomes asinine to fix a problem so that you don't get banned than fixing a problem so that you can have fun.
If there isn't a solution or the answer is that it stays, then I question the integrity of Valve and its concept on fun. This is coming off as I am very emotional however these things are what I dislike in other games. I like this game and what it to improve. So do take your time with an response because I accidently told Steam to back-up game files and now I have to reinstall it.
