Piggy Back puts faith in an ally to either make a strong push or a swift retreat.

Piggy Back almost acts like an inverse to Rescue Beam by attaching the user to an ally's back. The user cannot move while attached, but gains additional resistances and grants the ally holding them some additional movement speed and Fire Rate.
Uses for the item include:
--Helping low mobility characters (such as Mcginnis) escape bad situations by attaching themselves to an ally who's much more mobile. Even attaching yourself to someone slow is ideal, since the bonus movespeed helps both of you get out faster.
--Assisting an ally charging in with supporting fire. Being able to cast active items like Healing Nova or Curse allows you to support an ally directly without spending all your stamina trying to follow them. It also helps that you can still shoot your gun while Piggy Back is active.
--General improvements to rotation speed. Attaching yourself to an ally would allow both of you to roam the map quicker, enhanced by items like Majestic Leap or Magic Carpet.
Since some abilities would act unusually (such as teleportation moves or certain ults), the user is silenced while attached to an ally (the targeted ally is not silenced). While active items can still be used, mobility-related active items (such as Warp Stone or Phantom Strike) are also silenced. Abilities that are fully channelled, such as Ivy's Tether or Warden's Ult, remain active if Piggy Back is used.
The item shares a lot of similarities to Heroic Aura. The main strength of Piggy Back is that the active stats are stronger and it opens up more escape/push potential. The downsides to Piggy Back is that the buffs only apply to one ally and it puts a lot of faith in the specified ally, since the user is unable to move or use abilities while Piggy Back is active.
-Only the item's user can cancel the ability
-Only one Piggy Back user can be on someones back at any time. It's not possible to make a tower of allies stacking on top of each other.
-Active items like Phantom Strike or Majestic Leap are silenced while attached to an ally. Ethereal Shift is not silenced.
-If the ally gets stunned, the attached user is removed from their back.
-You cannot melee, but you can parry.
-The targeted ally does not see the full model of the Piggy Back user (since they would be blinded by the allies model). Instead, a small blue orb appears on their back, signifying that a teammate is using Piggy Back on them. The orb could use character icons to show who is on the ally's back.
-I don't know if abilities like M&K's burrow or Pocket's Satchel should also protect the Piggy Back user, but I don't think they should.
