Picking up ammo boon makes you automatically reload.

Huge issue, I've died in the jungle before on shiv cause I stumble over an ammo boon, and then start reloading which breaks my movement and kills me.

Why is this a mechanic in the game? Happens to sinners too.

Are you talking about the max ammo buffs from golden statues? I tested this and can't get it to work. Are you saying your gun will start reloading no matter what as soon as you pick up the boon/buff?

That is what I was saying, but I wasn't able to get it to work in the sandbox...
I will try later in the city proper, I'm quite positive that this does happen.

Ah ok, I was in the sandbox too, I'll try to remember it next time I'm in a real game

Okay I think I figured it out; I have a habit of spamming reload when my ammo is full; and I think that the reload press is buffered before you pickup max ammo which causes me to insta reload "for no reason"

Just to be clear I'm clicking reload BEFORE I pickup the ammo, never after.
