Phantom Strike teleporting backwards

Casting Phantom Strike can occasionally teleport you away from the target, moving the camera to face away from the target. This seems to happen mostly on targets that are touching a wall, and may have some collision clipped inside the wall.

I wonder if this caused by a recent path that changed the Phantom Strike behaviour on targets that were going behind a corner.

Video attached. Ball does not change the effect, this can still happen without it.
 
Yep I can replicate it pretty easily, seems to be related to distance to wall and Phantom Strike probably not knowing where to place the player so defaults to starting position.

I've also noticed it happen a few times in the Pit, someone even uploaded a bug report where this issue happened in the pit. I'm not sure if all those times I noticed it in the pit is directly because of the enemy standing near a wall, or because the Pit having strange invisible collision / walls that are known to cause issues with LOS abilities, probably affecting Phantom Strike in this way too.
