I was in the middle of a fight when my party leader left game to try to fix an issue he was having. The Create Roster screen popped up for me and our other party member and blocked what was going on in game, although I could still hear game sounds in the background. Hitting esc closed the screen.
The issue my party leader was having was that his abilities either weren't working or were sometimes auto casting. Unsure if that's related.
