I pretty much always duo. After one match, with no clear notice, our party was split. I queued in, only to realize I was on my own.
This was likely related to the fact that I was having some strange bugs in the prior match, so I restarted the client mid-match to try and get it working and reconnected. (There were a variety of stragne bugs that time- couldn't switch shop tabs, click on settings in the pause menu, or use my 1 for some reason despite the hotbar showing me hitting the key).
The bugs within that match are probably hard to pin down, but the easy request is: If a player DCs and reconnects into the same match, they probably want to be in the same party. Giving some notice that the party was broken at least might be nice.
