Parrying Light melee attacks feels way too punishing.

I understand why there's a parry button. Heavy melee attacks can do a ton of damage and being able to spam them with certain items can be really oppressive without it. The long stun is warrented with how big of a reward you can get and should be punished.

However being stunned for the same duration for a light melee attack makes zero sense to me. Especially since theres heroes who want to melee like Billy, and I assume for some other characters down the line. Also considering by the time the stun is over they can parry again, it pretty much means that no matter what melee focused heroes or builds will never work.

Now I'm not saying that parries shouldn't work against light melee attacks, I just think the punishment for it happening shouldn't be as severe. Instead of the 3ish second stun it is now, maybe its only a second, or maybe even just disables melee attacks for a bit. You would still have some counterplay and a way of protecting yourself without being severly punished for little gain.

Should be posted privately in the forums pretaining to Gameplay. Non-existing items, characters, abilities are public online, as well as bug reports. Reworking, adjusting on an existing character, quality of life (unless it is tangled with the bug), new game modes, new art/sound must be private. Community bias can hurt the development of Deadlock. To find the forums, main page, scroll down and go to general gameplay.

Don't worry - many people make the same mistake - me included (turns out suggesting features for current existing characters publically was incorrect lol, the mods had to move my posts).
