it seems like this is one of the heroes where the ultimate does not depend on the life of the hero himself. There is the same theme with the shadow. The shadow can also appear after death, because the process is already in action.

because the hero dies during their ultimate, and im just teleported to the final location immediately.

Gonna agree, you should be released when Paradox dies.
