Really love the world and characters of deadlock so wanted to try concepting one!

Thinking a witches illicit herb delivery boy that either fell or got tricked into a witches cauldron, during the maelstrom. Attack, 'reload' using the herbal packets, zipline, I thought him jumping in and out of the cauldron as an idle animation would be super cute. Also very roughly exploring potential moves on the last page!

Cute and well done! Only small qualm is that the sentient green blob overlaps a bit with Viscous' design / abilities, so maybe they should be a diff color?...
 
It would be so cool if he were official, the only criticism I have is that the color clash with Viscous, but if he were purple he would be perfect
 
Love this concept!

Honestly don't mind the color at all. Viscous and Oliver seems to be two different designs. They could though maybe be from the same place and have some kind of connection to each other? Just shower thoughts
 
I think the colour is fine, Lady Geist also has green and if Oliver is mostly inside the cauldron it wouldn't be too confusing
 
I would love for his cauldron's handle to be holding onto the zipline. I know it seems like cheating physics, but we can temporarily unhook the handle while he flies towards the zipline to then wrap around it.

Because the zipline is represented as this sort of energy wave I feel that it would work. The cauldron could also easily have a little hook added to the handle, like you'd see it connected to above a hearth.

russelrjones94's suggestions of a gun in the goop, is also really evocative, and I think completely fitting with the cute image.

The gun could be gooped up, and that could affect animations and or properties like attack speed windup. Reloading could be shaking off goop, or correcting the gun. Re-applying slime is also another idea.

I could easily see it firing goopy bullets with interesting projectile properties like the flare gun in tf2 or with other properties like being bouncy like the unreal tournament flakk cannon. Bouncing off the ground and walls. Given its not a shotgun in the goop in my mind, but that could easily be the sort of old school gun you'd see in the cauldron.

They could also have the basic effects of removing some bullet invulnerability to replicate acid, or a damage over time effect.

Getting a bit overly broad in this suggestion, but it could goop an enemy, making their movement properties different, affecting a sliding sensation like ice. Adjusting positioning of enemies with a different style of crowd control that wouldn't work in a traditional moba.
