OBSOLETE: Sometimes, Kelvin's Ice Path movement speed is reduced when firing his weapon if he paths over existing ice

Sometimes, Kelvin's Ice Path movement speed is reduced when firing his weapon if he paths over existing ice. This is not consistent, but I'm able to make it happen about 50% of the time. I'm confident this has happened in matches before, but in sandbox:

  1. The User spawns as Kelvin
  2. The User does not level up in any way, nor gain any souls
  3. The User activates their "Ice Path" ability
  4. The User observes their movement speed is now 11m/s
  5. The User attempts to shoot their main weapon while moving and also backtracking on their existing "Ice Path"
  6. The User observes that, sometimes, their movement speed will be reduced to 8.5m/s
  7. The User observes that their movement speed is not returned once firing ends, either
Expected behavior: Kelvin's movement speed should not be permanently reduced while the "Ice Path" ability is active.

NOTES:
  • This can also be accomplished with the "Ice Beam" ability instead of his main weapon.
  • If the intent is for other actions, like firing or using "Ice Beam", to slow Kelvin while on "Ice Path", the bug is instead that his movement speed is not restored properly once those slowing actions finish.
  • Screenshot includes active "Ice Path" *and* unexpected movement speed in Sandbox mode
