Not getting preferred hero

Since Rem came out I've been trying to play him but I only get him once every 10 games roughly, and even in one game I didn't get him when no one else in the game was playing Rem so I'm thinking that I'm just bugged as a whole and have really low hero priority

Literally everyone and their mother are trying to queue rem. You're never getting him or any new release consistently until months later.

That's fair, but my friend who I'm queuing with has gotten him 4 times in a row, it's so weird
