Not getting additional daily votes on win

I got 5 votes yesterday for my first win. Today it says I will get 4 votes upon my first win of the day. I have won multiple games and did not get these votes.

Valve is based in Washington, so EST, could it have been that you were just out of sync with when the "day" resets in deadlock?
