Background Story

Who hasn’t heard the story of "Richard the Lionheart"? On a dark night, the glow of gas lamps glinted in Charlie’s curious eyes. Though his body was here, his heart seemed to have already flown to Cyprus, Jerusalem... Who wouldn’t want to become the heroic Richard the Lionheart?
The seed of chivalry took root in the heart of young Charlie. He disciplined himself with the strictest knightly codes, in hopes of growing into a hero like King Richard in the future.
His wish has now come true, but not in the way he desired. After a whirlpool, when Charlie regained consciousness, he found himself in a completely unfamiliar city. There were candle-like soldiers, horned monsters, and witches who could turn into cats—yet there were no humans at all. His appearance had also changed drastically, though the good news was that compared to the other grotesque creatures, he still looked quite handsome, at the very least.
No one here has heard of the story of Richard the Lionheart—and that’s perfect! Charlie gave himself the nickname "The Lion," and he’s determined to spread the name of the Lionheart to every corner!

Art Design
Charlie has long, flowing blonde hair that cascades like a lion’s mane, paired with light green pupils. He cuts an imposing figure—tall and muscular—clad in resplendent attire in black and gold. In his left hand, he wields a short-barreled shotgun capable of holding two rounds, its red fore-end nearly flush with the muzzle. His right hand grips a spear, from which hangs a banner that signifies his identity. His voice is deep and resonant, rumbling like the low growl of a lion; when he delivers his lines, his tone is unwavering. He embodies the archetype of a tough American hero, much like Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Movement Design
Each bullet fired by Charlie contains 18 pellets, which can hit all enemies within a 30-degree angle in front of him. Every pellet deals independent damage— the farther the enemy is, the wider the pellet spread becomes, and the lower the damage inflicted. When the gun runs out of bullets, Charlie does not reload; instead, he discards the empty gun and draws a new one from behind his waist to continue fighting.
For close-range attacks, he has two options: striking enemies with his spear or kicking them. During a slide or dash, his spear points in the same direction as his movement. This action does not deal damage but exudes a powerful, imposing aura.

Ability 1:Plunder of Honor
This is an active toggleable ability. When activated:
30% of the currency Charlie personally secures will be distributed to the ally hero with the least currency in the vicinity. If Charlie himself has the least currency, this portion of currency will instead be transferred to the nearest ally hero to him.
In return, all allied units within a 700-yard radius will grant Charlie 10% of their own bullet damage as a bonus.
Upgrade 1
Allied soldiers in the vicinity will grant Charlie increased bullet damage, which is raised from 10% to 13%.
Upgrade 2
When Charlie has the least currency, the proportion of currency he gives to ally heroes will be reduced from 30% to 20%.
Upgrade 3
Now, each affected ally will additionally provide Charlie with 3 points of healing.

Ability 2: Mighty Thrust
Charlie drives his spear forward with force, dealing heavy melee damage to all hit enemies. This attack can pierce through enemies, and each pierced enemy will have their bullet resistance reduced by 15%.
Upgrade 1
Now, enemies hit by this attack will also have their movement speed reduced by 15%.

+50 Additional Damage

When the ability is activated, it will cause Charlie to switch to a brand-new shotgun.

Ability 3: Name of the Lionheart
Charlie unfurls the battle standard from his spear and plants it on the ground, creating an aura that lasts for 20 seconds. During this duration, he cannot use Ability 2. All allied units that pass through the aura will gain a shield that blocks soul damage, with the shield value being 100 + 70% of Charlie’s soul damage.
Upgrade 1
Before the shield is broken, shielded units will also gain a 5% increase in movement speed and firing speed.
Upgrade 2
The shield will now additionally persist for 6 seconds after the unit leaves the aura’s area.
Upgrade 3
The aura radius is increased by 100 yards, while its duration is extended to 30 seconds. Additionally, Charlie can actively recall the battle standard during the aura’s deployment.

Ultimate Ability: Charge as the Vanguard
Charlie summons his warhorse with a resounding bugle call and mounts it to initiate a couched lance charge . Enemies in his vicinity take soul damage every second equivalent to Charlie’s heavy melee strike. The first enemy hero he collides with head-on will be impaled by his spear and dragged for the duration of the ability (10 seconds) or until they crash into an indestructible structure .
Upon colliding with a structure:
The dragged enemy is stunned for 2 seconds.
All damage dealt to them during this time ignores bullet resistance .
Charlie dismounts and the ability ends prematurely.
Upgrade 1
After Charlie charges, he leaves behind a high-speed path lasting 3 seconds. Allied units can continuously slide on this path.
Upgrade 2
Warhorse's Soul Damage +100
Upgrade 3
While mounted, Charlie gains 60% additional bullet resistance and soul resistance.
