Nerf haze ult

That's just how that ability has always worked in the time I've played Deadlock tbh, if anything it might have been stronger first thing. She's the most dangerous ganker in the game, so if you're up against her you need to really be able to see her on your map and assume she might be coming after you if you can't. I know it kills you insanely fast and that truly doesn't always feel fair, but certain items like Ethereal Shift or Metal Skin *will* fully counter her if you do react in time. Sort of answering an unasked question here, but I'm very sorry to tell you that afaik this is the intended way her Ult works.

Youre right, I was just upset at the time of posting this lol. And it probably is a skill issue with me. I just dont like having to change my build each game depending on whether im fighting a a haze or a yamato. As a warith main ive had nothing but trouble with those two heros. I just need to use better items to counter that ult and use it at the right time.

I don't even flinch when facing a haze. Just practice your dash-jumps into sliding. She can only have so much range and she is slowed to her firing speed when using her ult. Just dash-jump out and run away. She is a hard carry so the best thing you can do is kill her in the early game and prevent her from farming. She had a lot of momentum in the game you showed with the most souls in the game at 40 minutes. That is where she is strongest.

being slept into ult is pretty unfortunate though. I personally feel the sleep could be half a second shorter to allow you to react better, especially since they always build duration extender.

Hey, I die to her ALL the time. I'm too old for this game on some level, my reactions are just not there. I still can't stop playing it, I've got the bug. o_O

Oh severe skill issue

See that? You are not buying any armor at all so you end up getting debuffed into receiving 156% of damage, Haze herself provides only -12% from Bullet resist shredder. She additionally silenced you like she should have. Well technically you had colossus but you didn't use it.

Yeah that doesn't bode well for your future, this game is exactly about counter itemizing and the fact that you aren't buying armors or metal skin when your enemy is Haze and Mirage sets you into certain failure every time.

Those items do not provide a full counter. For one, their duration is lower than the duration of the ultimate given the same level of farm with just the leftover duration being sufficient to fully kill many characters from full HP. Ethereal Shift also has the downside of guaranteeing your death due to you being locked down in place for the entire duration, giving the entire enemy team to setup a full kill area just for you.

Given that Haze has pretty much a universal 100% pickrate, it's safe to say that the character does need some rework. Something that will not have much of a downside but make her more reasonable would be a significant reduction in the AOE, or make it so the ultimate does not benefit from items or her passive would likely be a reasonable start without making her useless.

Warpstone, best item you could have in any other game with any heroes, good for escaping, chasing, additional mobility for roam/farming.

Haze ult -> warpstone

Yeah, that's probably a better idea, though if haze takes range increase the warp stone does not have enough range to warp you out. If fighting is an option (e.g. 1v1) it seems like Metal Skin and Return Fire will work together, which means that you can throw 60% of the damage back at her while taking less yourself (whatever spirit damage is attached to bullet damage due to passive and items, which I still think should not apply to ult) might make it possible to kill her before you die to the remainder of her ult.

That said the OP clip does seem to show him die too fast. Might be that with the change of 2 targets per shot, they made it so that a single enemy can be targeted twice, which would be insane if intended.

Haze ulti is 100% bugged. I have a video of it in my post about her ult. It does 75% more damage to a single target than it should.

Does it still returning bullet damage when using metal skin and return fire at the same time?

Those items do not provide a full counter.
While Ethereal Shift is horrible choice, Metal Skin purely depends on hero you are playing, like I play MnK so I just burrow, wait few seconds in Haze's ult while circling her, turn on Metal Skin, unburrow and ult her, works everytime and she can't do anything excepting cancelling ult and trying to run away early but my circling makes it hard for her to aim dagger at me. For many other heroes it's just enough to dash out safely if they don't have CC.

Read my post, he gets 156% dps due to his own dumbness, ofc he gets vaporized when Lucky Shot procs on that for like 290% dmg combined.

Ok my math is off, it should be (base dmg + 90%) + 56% so like 156% dmg on normal hits and 246% on lucky procs.

Does it still returning bullet damage when using metal skin and return fire at the same time?
Return fire returns 60% based on raw dmg that you were supposed to receive before reductions.
Haze ulti is 100% bugged. I have a video of it in my post about her ult. It does 75% more damage to a single target than it should.
Her ult is only bugged when one target dies and 2nd still lives, in both cases in vid he died alone.

So it works? New knowledge acquired.

Never knew that before, thx alot, i used to only use metal skin to counter wraith ult, now i know i can use return fire with it.

Again appreciate for the new knowledge.

Wraith is kinda harder case because she can still burst you with cards but if she can't yeah you will survive. Thought that's just the matter of always buying adv spirit armor.

Fun fact is, MnK in burrow won't be caught by her ult, it will keep hovering above you until you unburrow so you can leave safely to somewhere away.

Yeah i mostly survive her card, the one i hate is wraith full gun build and usually she aim at me after unburrowing(especially when i command grab someone), thats when i do the metal skin, without it, the enemy that i grab usually died, but i always die afterwards.

Firstly, your theory is already wrong because I put no death enabled, so no one died.

Secondly, why are you rebutting without any proof or testing of your own.

Thirdly, I just tested what you told me. Killed both targets. Then tested on a lone target. Still doing 75% more damage. I will record and show it soon.

Here, I tested with Haze ulti to single target. Did Haze ulti 2 times to kill 1 target, both times did about 315 damage. Lone target rezzed, and ulti again on lone target. Still doing 315 damage.

Then ulti on 2 targets, killed both targets. Then ulti on solo target, bug is still active, getting about 540 damage (about 75% more damage than normal) on a lone target now. And what's even more, on both targets, it deals what a single target should be getting. It's dealing 315 damage to both targets. So it's actually dealing double damage to 2 targets as well. It's dealing way too much damage than normal whether it's single target or multiple targets.
