Mystic Burst/Improved Burst not working with Paradox Pulse Grenade

Mystic Burst and Improved Burst doesn't trigger on Pulse Grenade if it meets the dmg threshold through its own dmg amp.

I believe that is because burst doesn't count debuffs on the enemy, and the grenade applies a debuff for each stack.

Burst triggers with spirit amp and spirit resistance shred so I think it should also work with dmg amp. Also, dmg amp not triggering burst seems to apply to any source of spirit dmg and other character abilities.

Does burst trigger with say Soul Shredder bullets?

Then that proves my theory wrong, no idea why it wouldn't work then.
