i really like the current implementation of extra stamina(vit) building into arcane surge(spi) or kinetic dash(wpn) and i think it would be interesting to see more items, future or current, have cross category upgrades!
a few examples of current items i could see this applying to is;
restorative shot(wpn) → bullet lifesteal(vit) or spirit lifesteal(vit)
weapon shielding(vit) → heroic aura(wpn)
heroic aura(wpn) → scourge(spi)
the examples are just to show the basic premise and aren't exact changes id expect without more consideration.
some lanes you get paired against enemy heroes that counter your hero very well, you can buy counter items for this purpose. alot of these counter items being 1600 souls get sold in the mid game for 800, putting the player behind a few waves compared to the enemy team, if these counter items built into other stat investments in the mid game, it would give players kickback for getting an unlucky lane matchup and having to spend some souls on counter items.
in the end i just think cross category upgrades would be neat
