Monster Rounds -> Cultist Sacrifice -> New item

T4 item (or more?)

The same item as 'Cultist Sacrifice', but with an added passive effect: non-hero creatures can no longer deal damage to you.

I only came up with the item's concept. I didn’t design its stats because I’m new to MOBAs and don’t really understand how the meta works in these games

Would not look forward to my enemies being immune to guardians, walkers and patrons.

But if it would just say "immune to troopers and jungle monsters" yeah it would be fine. Although, that as a t4 item is kinda useless, since by that time you usually barely take damage from creeps anyway. You could rush it but it's probably far more efficient to just buy damage and healing

Basically this design can either be way too weak or way too strong.

Yes, I misspoke a little earlier. What I actually meant was protection against troopers and jungle monsters. Originally, I conceived this item as late-game equipment - something you'd buy after already getting all your core items. Your message made me reconsider the concept. Let's make this item specifically designed for enhanced protection against non-hero units.

Seems pretty underwhelming for a tier 4. I also don't think cultist, or any tier 3 for that matter, really needs an upgrade.

i think it could have something to do with viewing creeps behind walls, or giving buffs to creeps against enemies, or adding some trap to a creep. Something more dynamic, active item maybe.

This is actually not a bad idea.

You could change it to something like:

Cultists Trap

The NPC that you use this item on no longer immediately dies (though you still gain Souls as if it had). Instead, when that NPC is defeated it grants no souls and one of the following happens based on who killed it:

1.) An allied Hero: That hero gains a 30s buff that increases their Spirit, Weapon damage, move speed, and Health.

2.) An enemy hero: That hero immediately takes Spirit damage (increases based on Boons and deals a % of maximum health) and is revealed on the minimap for 8s.

3.) Anything else: All enemy creeps nearby are dealt a large amount of Spirit damage. This damage is increased against enemy objectives.

Additionally, you may use this on friendly Candle Troopers as well as enemy or Neutral Troopers.

This makes it actually a pretty great sieging item since you can pop it on one of your own Troopers to try to Trojan Horse the enemy and deny them some souls, and at the same time it can be used to help boost your allies farm if you use it on enemy Candle Troopers. Using it an Enemy neutral camp can also result in a nasty surprise that marks a target for ganking.
