This is ONLY true if mo krill is Ulting before the lift happens, shown in the last tornado example.
i have seen this happen in a real game, you will fly if the enemy is in the air. Its not a breaking bug but a funny one atleast.

Can also happen with wraith, it seems to be controled by wraith or mo's movement key during the ult.
