Mirage changes ?

So, I saw AndrewChicken's latest video on Mirage and it's clear that I tend to agree with his observation. I really like the concept of Mirage itself but it is true that the character suffers from several small problems which in my opinion make the character less popular, attractive and fun than the rest of the roster. The character's kit is very utilitarian and lacks a bit of fun and playmaking in my opinion, especially the scarabs and the ultimate which is not very impressive when you see the others. Also I find that the kit does not take enough into account the lore and the design of the character, which is however the great strength of the characters in the game, like Nashala is never explicitly used except to reload Mirage's weapon. Finally, I have the impression that in its current state the character is difficult to balance, he is either very strong or very average. That's why I had fun trying to find rework ideas to make the character more fun and coherent without losing what he is today.

Warning, this is just my humble opinion and I have a lot of respect for all the work done on the game, and maybe the majority thinks that Mirage is doing very well and that's ok, I just think that sharing my opinion and my thoughts for the character could perhaps give some good ideas.

Here's what I did. No change on the tornado, it's great, it's the most fun and iconic spell in my opinion.

Ability 1: Mirage rubs Nashala's lamp, she takes out a large hand which goes forward crossing all the enemies she encounters to inflict damage on them before returning to her lamp stealing the life of everyone she meets during the return. Can be reactivated to return the hand sooner. Still a charged ability.

Ability 3: After a few seconds, enemies near Mirage are marked. When Mirage shoots a marked enemy, a small beetle flies away and if Mirage shoots it, it inflicts additional spiritual damage and briefly slows the target. After a few seconds the mark reappears on the enemy. If Mirage doesn't shoot it the beetle disappears and the mark returns a few seconds later.

Ultimate: Mirage holds Nashala's lamp towards the sky and creates a teleportation zone around him. All allies, enemies and minions present find themselves teleported to Mirage's side after a few seconds of loading. The tp has a limited range.

I made some sketches to make it clearer and I remind you that this is just my opinion and what I would like to make the character better in my eyes, some people may find it rubbish but I think it gives him more opportunity to do outplays with his team and play with his spells.Mirage_rework.jpg
