When a Mini Turret is actively in combat with neutral NPC's such as Denizen camps or the Mid-Boss, enemy players can see its icon pip on the minimap, even without direct vision provided by a hero or allied Trooper creep.
This is assumedly an unintentional oversight as heroes cannot be viewed on the Minimap this way.
