In nearly every match after some time the game starts to get unbearably laggy (FPS decreases from 120+ to less than 60 and eventually down to as low as 10) and requires restarting the game.
Worse, there seems to be some issue where restarting mid-match causes the VAC challenge time-out message to appear about 1/5 of the times. Nothing fixes this (I've tried restarting everything, closing everything besides steam, repairing the steam service, etc.) message except waiting about 10 minutes, after which the match is already abandoned and often ended.
This means that the game becomes unplayable and restarting it means there's a good chance I wont be able to rejoin the match anymore, a very frustrating combination of issues.
