If you -
1. Cast wall
2. Begin charged melee
3. Remove wall before hitting enemy
The charged melee will cancel. Sometimes this breaks the animation and locks you into the melee charge animation until you charged melee again.
If you continue to hold the melee charge button, another charged melee will immediately happen correctly. Gameplay-wise this lets you bait out a parry and then hit again, but it pretty clearly isn't intended.
Attached are three examples. One video shows a cancel with the animation breaking, and the other shows the double melee (first canceled melee will never hit, only pass through enemies so no double hit shenanigans) as well as the melee cancel.
