Hi all.
I have not seen a similar topic on the forum that describes everything that I will describe belowI will only outline in this thread those things that my friends and I really miss in the game, and I think adding these things is really important.
I divided the changes into sub-titles:
Settings
- Screen shaking and Nasty sound
There is no option to turn off screen shaking in the settings. I really don’t know why this setting is not there, because shaking the screen in a fight when you lose a significant amount of health leads to severe disorientation, and this shaking also comes with a sound, which is also disorienting. This setting is available in Dota2, but it is sorely missed here
- Mini-map Customizing
The game lacks changing the minimap settings, for example, there are small hero icons on the minimap, the hero icon has priority over the camp icon on the minimap, which can sometimes be inconvenient when farming.
What I would like to add:
1. Changing the size of icons on the minimap (in % ratio).
2. Changing the hero's priority on the minimap (so that the hero does not cover the camp icon).
3. Increasing minimap size.
Gameplay
- Jungle System
I understand that the developers wanted to make a jungle system something similar to LoL and Dota2, but at the moment the jungle in Deadlock is realized very poorly.
Why? - For example, in LoL only junglers can beat the jungle, so there are not many camps and they give a lot of gold, in Dota2 there are a lot of camps, everyone can beat them and they give not much gold, but in Deadlock there are very few camps, they have a long cooldown and if at least 1 more hero is farming with you, you are already losing a lot of “souls”, because the cooldown is too long.
My suggestion: Reduce the cooldown of camps, or rework their system, since farming them is now a rather difficult task. - Comeback System
In the comeback game, the system is realized in such a way that there is a feeling that it does not exist at all. Killing heroes with streaks does not give a large number of souls, only if the hero farmed souls and unprotected souls dropped from him. This system needs to be completely reworked, since now if you lose all the lines you will lose the game in 90% of cases - Skill Casting System
The game has a strangely realized system of casting skills, if you pressed a skill at one point of the aim and start moving it to another, the skill will go not to the point at which you pressed it (as in all games) but to the one at which you the sight stopped. I explained it here: Click.
How should it be? You pressed the skill at one point, and if you moved the crosshair, the skill will still fly to the point where the crosshair was when you pressed the skill. Also, there are skills that for some reason unknown to me have a casting animation, which ruins some moments (for example, skill 3 on a Pocket)
Matchmaking
- Queue System
Honestly, it’s so stupid to first divide servers into regions, and then divide them into language groups. If I play alone, I come across players from the EU region, since I live in it, and perhaps it would be logical if when I playing with friends, I also came across players from the EU region? But no, when I playing with friends, we are matched with a game with Russian speakers, because my friends live in that region.
No, I’m not a Russophobe, but what happens in games with Russian-speaking guys is terrible, everyone screams, no one listens to calls, everyone does what they want. People just ruin games. And dividing the game into language groups in such early Beta testing was probably the worst decision. As far as I understand, this happened in the latest update, and this system needs to be removed (in my opinion)
Shop
- Quick-Buy System
The quickbuy system is really lacking, there’s no point in describing too much here, it’s implemented in Dota2, and I think many will agree with me.
Other
- Quick-Cast System
There are a lot of heroes that require you to press a lot of directional buttons (for example Warden), and this system is also missing in the game. I would like to see it here as well.
