Several Abilities could Include these Dolls in Creative Ways, and make up a parts of a full kit as I got inspired by looking them up.

The Matryoshka (матрешка) or nesting doll is one of the most recognizable symbols of Russia. However, the first Matryoshka doll wasn't made until 1892. The origin of the Matryoshka is actually Japanese! Sava Mamontov brought a Japanese Fukurama doll back from a trip to Japan as a gift for his wife Elizaveta.

Lore Elements:
Hero:
Kuroka & Matrya
Origin: Half-Japanese, Half-Russian puppeteer sisters who blend traditional doll-crafting with the mystics.
Design: One main character (Kuroka) walks and controls a floating oversized Matryoshka puppet (Matrya), suspended by visible glowing threads.
Hook: Kuroka is a half-Japanese, half-Russian puppeteer who controls a floating Matryoshka doll named Matrya—built to house the soul of her sibling. Using mystic threads, she commands Matrya to heal allies, attack enemies, and control the battlefield with precision and strategy. How did Matrya get turned into a doll?
Gun: Needleburst Carbine
Type
: Burst-fire sub-rifle (think stylized SMG or carbine)
Ammo: Small mag (18–24 rounds), 3-round burst
Damage: Medium per burst, high accuracy
Precise and efficient weapon that complements the kit.

Hero Kit:

Matryoshka Grenades:

These dolls are very unique in nature, the first use I've seen in games where as Grenades in Black Ops 1 Zombies mode where they explode multiple times in quick succession, Good for area denial in a unique way, similar to Paradox nades or Ivy nade.

Matryoshka Capture (Ult):
Imagine Having a large Matryoshka capture everyone in an area, not too large, 70% of Dynamo Ult, and then are dragged slowly by your character:
- Allies inside heal over time, and can exit early by pressing ability cancel button (Like Viscous Cube)
- Enemies are trapped for the duration and take heavy DoT

Precision Thread:
This is the simpler ability to balance things out, you cast a thread on self or ally to boost movement speed and regeneration, could become a multi charge ability. Later upgrades could include an extra charge, more regen, and faster reload speed.

Summon Puppet:
Summons a floating puppet connected by visible strings. The puppet obeys contextual commands, when the Ability button is pressed again the puppet follows:
- when there is no target the puppet would toggle between Follow and Guard mode.
- At Allies: puppet follows and heals them around the map
- At Enemies: Puppet attacks
- Alternate Cast button: switch between Attack and Heal mode.
- Ability Cancel Button: Takes back the puppet and the ability goes on cooldown.
The puppet is on a longer cooldown and serves as a flexible companion, capable of supporting allies, applying pressure, or farming jungle objectives while you focus elsewhere, it is secretly a glorified Healing Minion which makes designing and balancing around it a bit more easier.

Extra Lore + thoughts:
Seeing as these dolls Originate from Japan but are popular from Russia (Which I had no idea that Japan was involved before today) I think it would be great to have a unique take on these dolls and trying to include them the way they are, maybe a Half Japanese Half Russian character, could be a duo like Mo&Krill and could be Linked with puppeteering and Doll manipulation, since people find that stuff interesting and I think it fits a bit of a Hybrid style of character. I would add two more Abilities.
