Matchmaking is so broken it literally has to be a bug at this point[OCE]

I genuinely, genuinely believe that matchmaking is actually broken in OCE, not like "oh its bad" like something has actually gone wrong with these updates, for a little over a week now in OCE I have gotten legitimately the worst players in seemingly every rank, but am constantly matched against skilled players that are very very VERY obviously not in the same rank as my team.

And I'm not talking like "oh they missed X, or they did X when they should of done Y" I'm talking running it down 0-13 within 9 minutes, people who don't know what the sinners are, people who seemingly have no objective grasp of how the game functions or what their characters do, people who are obviously either extremely new(sub 5 games) or legitimately initiate 1, people so laughably bad at the game it defies belief that they're SOMEHOW my teammates, while simultaneously making me face 6 people who at or above my skill level.

I don't know how matchmaking is fully calculated in deadlock, but there's obviously something fundamentally wrong with it when I can control a lane with shiv for 20 minutes, only to look over and see that the 2 people in mid have more deaths than they have minion kills and the haze is currently 26 and 0.

The worst part is, it's killed the enjoyment of this game for me, it's every single game, I literally cannot play this game anymore and move out of whatever rank the matchmaking thinks I'm in, now, opening deadlock is just a losing battle, before last week I was almost at archon, ive since dropped to ritualist 4 in under a week, irrespective of if the ranks don't actually matter, how exactly have I played all the way to archon, and within the past week am suddenly getting people who can't be trusted with sharp scissors as my only teammates?

The only thing I can think is that something is insanely broken with the MMR and not on a "this game has bad matchmaking" but more along the lines of "this game has no matchmaking at the moment" because i don't believe the devs would actively make a matchmaking algorithm this maliciously horrible and inept.
 
What's the most crazy is on April 1st when they turned off matchmaking, I actually got quality games for the first time on 400 matches.

For 400 matches outside of 4/1

I've exclusively had feeders on my team, and only my team, while still dramatically our performing the 11 stack I have the /joy/ of facing 1v11 in the 6v6 game i queued to play

Of course the started by run down lane feeding billy spent the ENTIRE match in Voice chat harassing and flamming me.

Obvious 11 stack, when not only did not a single "teammate" go "hey run down lane feeder, maybe dont' try and harass the only guy playing?" because they were too busy intentionally feeding themsevles. Extra impressive when the enemy team from minute 5 onward did nothing but 6 man hunt me, using 6 ults, and still could not kill me until patron defense when I 1v6 died b/c I don't afk even in 1v11 i'll take a death idk a perfect score shows the game fucked up matchmaking also (and If I don't get perfect which i do half the time, it usually go 20+ kda...most kills, most hero damage, most obj damage, but losing team b/c 1v11 literally every game for 400 matches........with these screen shots to prove it...just crazy)



Either they are using the failed match making from dota, trying out some equally gutter trash matchmaking, or party queueing is just completely ruined all multiplayer gaming.

100% of these matches are parties feeding. The game needs a strict solo queue yesterday, they won't b/c it would fix the game, and Valve would literally rather die than make their games playable for non griefing, cheating, cancer sub humans.

Strict solo, metric based match making, and making sure the teams are balance (not using dota's retarded the best player gets the worst players and fight the second best and middle)

This game is not won by the best player (have 100's of screen shots to prove) it is lost by the worst players.

With abilities hurting towers and 6 people able to death autism the patron vs 1, it's quite literally been which team has the 3-5 feeders and which doesn't.

Now how that's been MY TEAM for 400 in a row, and not ONCE been the enemy...well that's why we need to transparency in matchmaking, because clearly there is some targeted nonsense going on.....
 
Glad to see this is an issue for others in OCE - about 2 to 3 months ago it had gotten to a pretty good place, not perfect, but I wasn't wanting to throw myself out my window every fucking match.

It seems to be an issue exclusive to higher ranks / players with larger play time, because I got my missus into the game and she herself has said that anytime she plays in her lobbies, team's are evenly balanced, people seem to have a good idea of the game and how to progress. Any time she joins my lobbies, she gets to experience the hell of players who are somehow em 6, but don't counter buy, don't use actives, won't push objectives, and spend 80-90% of the game AFK farming, or hiding behind our side of the map.

Dev team seemingly never makes this a priority, despite it inevitably leading to more experienced players, the players who push the games forward and play the active part in making games fun, leaving. I hate league, but I'm seriously considering going back after seeing the fucking downturn they've taken with choices in the last month.

Just wanted to point out something poignant you said:

"The game is not won by the best player..."

For some reason, the antithesis of this seems to be the retard gospel that most MOBA developers follow, and somehow can't understand the basic concept that a team is the sum parts of it's whole, and not just the single highest stat rated player.

More and more, it feels like every single match you're going to have to sweat your dick off just to get halfway close to a competitive match because your team is made up of first time players, or players who honestly should be locked out of the public queue.
