Howdy! I'd like to preface this post with the statement that i am aware that leaving a match after you have been match-made (when you and your enemy team are chosen and characters are locked) will result in a matchmaking ban. This is not the scenario described in this bug report.
I seem to have accrued a ban timer without ever having been match-made. The actions that preluded this ban were as follows:

- After booting deadlock, i started the matchmaking process.
- I cancelled the matchmaking process by holding down C
- I quit the game, and then restarted my computer ( i like to do this before i play because I'm superstitious that it makes my game run better
) - I booted deadlock for the second time and attempted to start the matchmaking process, and then was met with the matchmaking ban screen
In my match history, my last played match was a day ago, with matchmaking working between then and now on my first boot up of deadlock. so i surmise the computer restart may have been the cause. I would think that a probable explanation for the ban would be loading into a match as i restarted my computer, though i fully backed out of queuing & quit the application before restarting so i doubt that is what happened.
