match ID: 46931523 The Doorman's Call Bell dealing 0 dmg for some reason

Replays are 20 ticks as opposed to the in-game 64 ticks.

In the replay, it seems like the bell travels further like in this frame

However, you can also see the bullet has already been shot by doorman. In the next frame we see that the bell actually already exploded and that Mina is otuside the explosion radius

I don't claim to be an expert but this just seems to be a replay tick error. The game was visually showing the bell as travelling further in the replay, but then corrected itself to be more accurate to what actually happened in the game..

Not sure exactly how to explain it.

What to me seemed suspicious was that the bell exploded exactly where the vertical rope is located at. its as if the bell travels through it but for some reason explosion hitbox could have stopped or interacted with the rope ?

Game replay ticks ? The bell is literally next to Mina, visibly, bullet is shot and then it jumps back, what game ticks.

Practically however this felt unreal, I KNOW MY BELLS VERY WELL. And it felt like some cheating of next level is going on when i played this in real time.

Game has 64 ticks = > registers info 64 times a second

Replays have 20 ticks = > 20 times a second

Basically, in-game a tick is 1/64th of a second while in a replay a tick is 1/20th of a second, which is larger.

As a result, the replays don't accurately show anything registered between the first and the second tick, because, in-game, there have been about 3 or so ticks instead.

However, after the next tick happens in a replay, all the information is corrected to be exactly like it was in-game.

This is why replays always look weird regarding to shooting, and feel like the aim is a bit behind what you've actually done in-game, but you're still hitting the shots.

Once again, I'm not saying I'm an expert and I'm not saying this is 100% the issue. It is still very possible there's some actual error that happened in-game, but I just tried to provide a possible explanation.

And I am telling you that what happened during live game was exactly what is visible in the replay. I wouldnt be creating a thread if i would not think that something is wrong with how that bell dmg registered.
