Massive Performance Issues - Game is almost unplayable

Hi team & fellow deadlockers,

Since quite recently, in-game performance has gone from amazing to uncomfortable to unplayable.
Setup I am running:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9600X
GPU: AMD Radeon 9070XT
RAM: 32GB

Before the latest updates, I was running the following settings (see attached) smoothly with a stable in-game fps of 240.

I haven't played for a couple of days, and launched a game. Immediately after loading into Hideaout, my fans went crazy (I have a trigger on 75C), then in-game, my fps rarely reached 200, lingering in the 140 - 160 range.

Second game I was playing (after restarting pc, as I thought that this might fix the fans going crazy issue), the game started freezing, and at some point I had 240ping even though my internet connection was absolutely fine.

Apologies for my language, but what the actual fuck, guys??? :D
The game is now unplayable, and I cannot afford launching apached helicopter in my room.

Does anybody have a fix for this? Thanks in advance!

just want to cosign also running an AMD setup and the performance isn't where it should be - I run a amd RADEON 6800

ok this fixed it for me. what he calls the "roblox" settings. runs super smooth and looks good too

Yeah this is a game changer for now (quite sure Valve same as Respawn in Apex legends will eventually lock down all the mods and force out "potato graphics").

@dslf.506 do you have sinners lights mod? I tried to look for it online and struggling to find it and on "8" setting lights indeed are just "on" all the time. I can still hit sinners based on sound, yet it is not too convenient.

Thanks in advance for sharing!

Played my first game on potato graphics.

Honestly the only benefit from it I got is what I usually try to do with FPS games = improve visual clarity, remove clutter. That is great and this replies to my question I asked so many streamers (none replied as per usual, guarding the knowledge while creating guides on how to be better :D) = how they get that smooth contrast graphics.

As for FPS unfortunately same thing as before:

- game starts well
- CPU/GPU at all points in game under even 60% utilization, temps good, memory more than available
- still the longer games goes one the bigger FPS drops become. If I start with 200+ with 99% percentile above 140, then at the end of the game FPS are more like 100-120 and <100 accordingly

Seems to be some game issue, from my experience = lack of optimization for AMD GPUs / AMD driver compatibility with latest games :(

Changing to low settings did nothing for me on a 9070 XT. Seems to work on a 7900 XTX but that one has the old Valve netcode/fps syncing problem.
