Lower FPS after latest patch

Usually see more than 100, was floating around 60-50 towards the end of the game I played just now

Playing on Proton, thought it was a linux issue but people on the discord confirmed it wasn't just me so it's most likely not related to linux

Arch Linux 6.9.4-arch1-1
mesa 24.1.1-1
RX 7800XT
AMD 5800x3D
64GB DDR4

I wasn't measuring my FPS in that much detail before this patch, but if I had to guess I'd say I'd get drops to maybe 90-80 before in team fights, but as of this patch I'm getting down to 50-60 in teamfights.

Windows 11 23H2
Ryzen 5 5600x
RTX 3080 Ti
16GB DDR4

I had a DC due to a power brownout and when I returned the FPS tanked to the 20s-30s with lots of second freezes
game: 126112
windows 10
ryzen 7 5800x3d
rtx 3080
32gb ram ddr4

Agreeing that I've been having major performance issues with this patch. First match I played was fine but in the next I had incredibly frequent, massive dips in FPS which would usually then be followed with my hero becoming very unresponsive with broken/stuck animations.

Before last patch, had a stable 144 fps, only dropped to 60-70 in team fights.
After patch, FPS dropped to 100 at max, also when riding the zipline it lowers down to 25-30, same in any teamfight.

Windows 11 23H2
Intel i5-12500H
RTX 4060 Laptop
16GB DDR4

Had pristine gameplay until today's update. Went from 90 fps 100% of the time to random drops and hitches. Sandbox is absolute hell as well now.

Have the same issue in terms of lower FPS, hero models loading slowly when going through them in menus, and in-game FPS dropping to 80-90.

Windows 11 23H2
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Processor 4.20 GHz
Radeon 6950XT
64GB DDR5

Yea my frames are waaaay down after today's patch as well. Sometimes it even stays at like 60fps when I'm normally 120+

Windows 10 22h2
Intel i7-8700k cpu @ 4.6GHz
Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080
32GB DDR4 3200

Windows 10 22h2
AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 12-Core Processor @ 4.70 GHz
Nvidia Geforce 3060ti
64GB DDR5 6000

First game I played today was completely unplayable; I actually couldn't look towards mid without my frames dropping from ~100 to ~30

much lower fps (60-90 most of the time) after patch, assumedly because of gpu

i7 13700k
32gb ddr5
1060 6gb

also noticing significantly more lag if alt tabbing back into the game if that helps anything

post below mostly fixed my issues back to old fps (~120-130) but I'm still getting worse fps dips than I used to (~60 vs ~85 at worst)

Check if the game is running on DX11 or Vulkan. Mine was switched to Vulkan after the update, which resulted in lower fps.

After the patch, 120 fps became 24 fps for around ~1-2 minutes in the beginning of the game, then stabilized around 80.

AMD Ryzen 2700x
Nvidia 1070 Ti

Getting GPU errors (grey bars will flash on screen) and general slow performance especially loading games/loading replays/loading into spectating. Also have significant delay in the spectate/replay client when using hotkeys/giving inputs like switching camera modes/teams/between players. Majority of this on Vulcan but some still present on DX11

Windows 10
Intel i5-4690K
Nvidia 970

This is the first time I play and have no prior experience, my fps drops to 40s-30s in the middle of fights, I tried Vulkan and DX11 (and they're about the same I'd say). Obviously I'm not expecting anything crazy with my specs, but regardless I'll give my input on this as it's basically unplayable.

Arch Linux 6.9.5
Intel i5 10400
Nvidia 1660 Super (Beta open driver)
16GB of ram

All this on Proton 9.0-2, might try experimental and GE, with gamemode on (I just realized I wasn't using it oops) and perhaps update if I find anything out. Hope this helps in any way.

I noticed a substantial drop in performance as well with this patch.

Windows 10
64GB DDR5 RAM
Intel i7 13700
RTX 3060TI

40~30 FPS in game, before was 70~60.
Edit: Playing at 1080P 60hz, all settings maxed out.

I have also had significant lost frames in this patch

Windows 11
32 GB RAM
AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6-Core Processor
RTX 4090

Currently playing on default settings

In the patches that have been pushed yesterday (don't know about today) my fps have significantly improved, I get 170ish fps in the practice range and about, it was about 60ish prior to the updates, great great update for performance (I'm inclined to think the minions' particles tank the fps a lot still)

AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with Radeon Graphics, 3201 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s)

Basic settings - fastest

Pre Patch : 100 fps, 60-70 during team fights
Post Patch :60-70fps, 30-40 during team fights

Windows 10
64 GB Ram
AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 6-Core Processor
Basic Settings work best.

Before the patch I had good frames on high settings with it dipping to 50 in some intense team fights.
Now I am stuttering and lagging numerous times even in spawn and in sandbox mode.
