Losing rank while winning games

Hello fellow gamers. I have 55% winrate in well over 500 games and I noticed a trend in last few weeks regarding ranked. After unfortunate griefer and leaver filled first rank calibration I was placed in ARCHON 5, and in next few weeks I clawed my way to PHANTOM rank pretty easy. But my issue presents its self in last two weeks of calibration. Last week went 10W-12L and i lost two ranks (PHANTOM 1 ---> ORACLE 5). Didn't think of it much at the time till tonight when after a week of calibration went 15W-13L I LOST FOUR RANKS (ORACLE 5 --> ORACLE 1). Well I know what most will say, win/loss is not only metric in determining a rank, and I agree. I am always topping some or few or all of many metrics in my games (kills, assists, bld. dmg, healing etc.), and have experience in valve ranked games for over a decade now (Dota 2 Immortal rank 12k hours+). Just need some of the staff to look into it, don't want to be stuck with griefers and leavers in lower ranks (Dota 2 flashbacks). And im pretty sure I'm not the only one with this occurring being the game in such an early development. Btw game came up a long way in last few months since I've been playing it, I'm glad to see it!

It's certainly flawed, had a guy in my team yesterday emissary (4) matched in a solo lane vs phantom (5) guy, basically lost a game through one lane (guy died 10 times in 7 minutes). Not matching people with 20 ranks (yes 20) in difference should be a non-brainer, but instead is a reality. Can't even be bothered to post it in 'Bad Matchmaking Thread', cuz this should never ever happen in the first place.

Can't say I had as many of those types of games this week, mainly because I decided to opt out of playing ranked almost entirely on the weekends (I presume weekends are worse because people's seeded MMRs haven't had a chance to adjust), but I definitely feel your pain on those types of games, mismatched skill and blowouts seem to be the norm in most matches sadly.

Honestly a consequence of the game having way, way too many ranks. It'd have been fine if there was one tier per rank (11 total) but holy lord having six subtiers in 11 ranks is way, way too specific of ranking for a closed playtest. Feels a bit like a jumped gun but hasn't made a big enough difference for it to be a major problem yet.

This shouldn't be an issue if the ranks are simply assigned by looking at how your MMR compares on a bell curve to all other players in the pool that week. Judging by the new distribution, it seems to work this way now.
I doubt it works like in League where you have to earn X points to go up a tier.

They reshuffled all of the ranks to fit a bell curve.
 
My rating increases when I play better. I feel that my skills in the game are getting better and my rating is increasing.I have a similar win rate of about 54 percent and I see normal work rating system in my opinion.

So I think developers want the rank system is like "normal distribution".
