Here is how the windows look using the games vulkan renderer with Proton, the windows in the back there are blacked out.

and for posterity, how it looks in DX11 mode with Proton:

If this is fixed then I think the Vulkan renderer would be at about visual parity with the DX11 renderer on linux.
