Legitimate invites not working after being invited through exploit

The person who invited me did so by using my email, but selected someone else on his friend's list to bypass the 30 days limit( he thought it would get me in just fine). I ended up getting the email for the invite, I got access to the forum but no game added to my library which, fair enough.
The problem is I've been invited legitimately afterwards 3 times all from a week ago and I've still not gotten a reply from the deadlock email address, even after replying asking for assistance.
Wanted to see if anyone else has this problem and if there's anything else I can do about it.

I had the same problem. One of my newer Steam friends wanted to invite me to the game so he decided to trick the referral system without asking me first. The result was that I ended up with a forum account but no access to the game.

I've received several legitimate referrals since then, to a different email mind you, but still have not gained access to the game.

Nope, Ive resorted to using a different account, got it referred yesterday and hopefully I'll be getting access soon
