I'm assuming this is a bug, because what game especially an alpha would ban a person for leaving a game thats not even comp. Left a game earlier this evening around 6pm to help my kids get ready for bed and logged back in and i'm banned until 130am tomorrow...6 hour ban for leaving 1 game, no warning no nothing. So i'm assuming this is a bug, because ain't no way you're gonna have a successful game with literally banning people from playing for hours if they leave a single game...cause thats crazy. So figured i'd report it as a bug cause no rational software dev or game designer would do this. I crashed the other day and couldn't log back into the match because the game was bugged and got a 10 minute ban which i thought was also weird, but this is just wild. Please tell me this is bugged.

This needs to be looked into. I have never left a game before. Getting hit with a 6 hour ban is insane. When my plans were to play deadlock for the evening. Being banned like this is a huge loss for me. It's not fair.
I got banned for 6 hours as well, for my internet being down for 8minutes. thing is I rejoined the game as soon as i could - but by then 3 of my teammates had left.
So honestly - idk. It sucks. I was doing almost well enough that it might have still been a close game.
I do think 6 hours is a little rough for my first ban. Only games ive "left" have been from connection issues like "scheduled maintenance" that comcast at least doesnt even attempt to inform people on. So its kinda a bummer. Its not even often I lose connection. Its like every few months my provider does some update or whatever else during my gaming hours - but normally when it does happen it happens 2-3 times in a few weeks
Even when I am in a game where it says "this game is safe to leave but will be recorded as a loss" Ive stayed and played it out.
Idk, I get it. I really do get the rough bans - but I also think its more nasty then fair to still do considering I went back into the game asap.
