Lead Shoes - Anti-Knockup

Lead Shoes - a counter to knockups.

Lead Shoes's passive makes you immune to knockups. Too good you say? It also removes your ability to double jump and makes you fall faster. Maybe removes 1~2 sprint speed if you think it's needed.

A strong counter to knockup-heavy team comps that sacrifices mobility, limiting ability to either chase or escape, and requiring strong movement skill to diminish the downsides.

Faster falling should affect heros even during abilities, making it a tough purchase on heros that value airtime, such as Vindicta, Talon, Mina, Lash.

I think it's not the best design to have passive immunity to any kind of crowd control - even with drawbacks. It's also much more situational than a lot of other defensive items - far as I can see 14 heroes have displacement effects and only a couple of active items like Vortex Web can grant them.

That said as a thought experiment I wondered what an item like that would look like and if it could work so I tried to make it - I just don't think it'd be all that good.

I made the passive immunity have a cooldown but in return give you buffs when the effect triggers. Also I think removing the ability to double jump would be super unfun so instead gave it a stamina regen penalty.

I don't think this is a good item/effect, personally, it's too niche and difficult to balance in a way that's fun.

I think its alright for if you end up against a team with a bunch of displacement, like a viscous-paige-graves game, i would specify non ultimate. otherwise it nerfs lash (although...)
