Three separate ground strikes in the patron pit don't do any damage towards the end of the game (45:06, 45:28, 45:38) when it seems like they should. I went ahead and tested it again in a custom match; ground striking someone in the pit has no effect. Still deals damage if you hit them directly though.
I assume it's the same issue as what prevents ground strike from hitting enemies below you on stairs, but I don't know.
Love the game, thanks for taking a look at this! The Lash deserves his dive kicks; they're so much cooler than uppercuts.
