Lane Prefference reset to Balanced

Every single time I've logged onto the game the prefference resets to balanced, everytime a party disbands it resets and theres been maybe twice that i've noticed it hasn't reset after a game reboot. It doesn't matter if I soft close the game or quit it from console. I play with a party often so i preffer it to be set to party always, but seemingly the game doesnt want to do that, while i know theres a feature in game to swap lanes its still annoying when you get afk players that don't swap in time.

That's because the lane preference setting is per party. It's not something that can be saved and is intentional.

Personally I don't see a benefit from it being party specific.
At least then put it in the queue menu if its meant to be always changed, instead of deep in the settings

Quite shrimple, actually, it might even tie into the bad matchmaking: They want test data for their laning algorithm. They do not want you to lane with your teammates, because then the laning algorithm can't sort you based on characters
