Lane assignment option gone, not getting in lane with party members

Hello dev team and other readers.
First I want to say great update. But something that's been bothering me is that lane assignment options were first of all removed. Previously I always had the issue of it being reset back to balanced whenever I joined a new party. But now they're gone completely. Which further then lead me to the issue that with them removed that I basically never get into lane with my party teammates anymore.
Was this an intentional or is it really just a bug?

The option still exists, it's in the top right next to your username. That said, I really wish the "lane with party" option would save

Oh my god, thank you. Maybe it's possible to make it more obvious that the party settings exist by making the icon a brighter color? Or maybe I am the only blind one. Others said reinstalling the game could help with that issue, so I may try that.
