Teamfight - Think Ahead - Grandmaster
Key aspects:
- Good against multiple enemies
- Requires thinking ahead
- Special spirit scalings
- Every game is unique, because he has a dozen of different ults (technically)

Trivia: A child from a poor family, he was unable to perform heavy physical labor due to health issues. He preferred to earn money by beating naive adults at various games. Having achieved a certain level of mastery in chess, he began winning tournaments and earned a decent living. One day, meeting Ivy, he was inspired and decided to become an protector for the underprivileged, like himself, but still unsure of his abilities. He's cowardly in words, but no slouch when it comes to battle.
Select: "They are going to shoot at me?! Ok-kay, let's stay open-minded to the new experiences.."
Unselect: "I guess it's like choosing the opening? Just go with your favorite one."
Patron: "All your childhood friends either died in factories or in gangs. Summon me, Ludwig, and their souls will be avenged."

Weapon: Stonewall Dutch Defense - A mechanical railgun loaded with pawns. It has eight rounds and a slow rate of fire but fast projectiles. Called after an opening in which white pawns form an impenetrable wall.
Kill:
"Well, that was a blunder."
"Too late to say sorry, i guess."
Killing spree:
"My hands a shaking. Is this... excitement?"
"See, keep everything protected and at some point your opponents will start throwing themselves at bullets."
Fork (Your spirit nuke) - A bomb with a small radius, if the first explosion hits a hero, that hero will explode again later. Not hard to imagine how much damage multiple secondary explosions will deal if the enemies are stacked together. This ability should have a small cast range to compensate for it's power - it will force the player to be very tactical about their position. The player will also have to predict movement of enemies to hit a whole group, which is pretty chess-themed.

Upgrading:
"Always scan the board for this simple opportunity."
"I worried that exploding people is maybe too violent, so i added a second detonation and now I'm sure it's too violent."
"They just won't have moves to save everyone."
Pin (your crowd-control) - While channeling you create a line on the ground in front of you. At the end everyone in the line will be cc-ed. First upgrade gives you a huge fading movement buff, you can use it to align the ability better.
This ability scales in an unusual way - instead of dealing more damage it becomes wider.

Upgrading:
"Breaking legs is very tactical indeed."
"If there are two dots, there is a line."
"I was thinking about ordering, like, a 5-meter long magical pin suitable of piercing humans... Jesus, what am i becoming?"
Battery (Your mobility and support) - You teleport to ally and follow them behind their back. Similar to Rem, but you also can cast abilities and shoot while attached. Or you can stay invisible while your ally fights in "1v1" with some poor Drifter not understanding why his passive doesn't work. This ability is made to win via trickery and smart positioning, not via pure numbers.
This ability also has unusual spirit scaling - Duration instead damage

Upgrade:
"One moves - two attack."
"Beginners often don't notice a long-range piece until the very last second - that's expected."
"Don't blame me for hiding behind my allies, I'm the brain of the operation! And I'm scared!"
Master of Strategy (Your cool and unique support passive) -
You get more money but your items turn on later. The more spirit power you have, the larger the timer. Requires thinking what items you will need in the future. Timers become a thing only when you unlock the ult, it's not like you need to wait an extra minute to get your Restorative Shot.
When you upgrade this ability, you can choose any active item in the shop, and put it's active part in the ult. Because most of the active items in the shop are supportive, it often feels like you don't have enough slots. You need barrier, you need rescue beam, you need curse, knockdown, silence wave, healing nova, and so on. + These items usually required on supports, and as a support you may have difficulties to buy them all fast enough while also following your own build.
This ability upgrade also requires you to strategize, to look ahead and counter build the most dangerous enemy. Or to be crazy and surprise your enemies.
Level 2 upgrade also makes selecting lower tier item reasonable. It gives you extra charges depending on the item's tier - 3 extra charges for tier 1, 2 for tier 2, 1 for tier 3. Just imagine possible madness with the rapid recharge....
How about 6 healing rites? 4 warp stones? 4 rescue beams? 3 phantom strikes? 3 REFRESHERS?

Upgrade:
"There were millions of possible outcomes. From now possibilities are uncountable."
"Thinking ahead is all we need"
"At some point, the game reaches a state that no one has ever seen before."
